Pray for Us

Prayer is the breath and blood of the Christian life. There is nothing of eternal value that can be achieved without prayer. That is why we value prayer so much. We are passionate about prayer. Spiritual Power is one of our three core values. Hence this section of our web site.

There are several ways you can gain information for prayer:

> You can become a Prayer Partner

> You can subscribe to our newsletter.

Prayer Captain

This is the leader of a group that covenants to pray for us on a weekly basis. Read the following information and then contact us and tell us you’d like to be a Prayer Captain.

Here is how it works.

There are various groups that meet all over around the world. This might be small groups, prayer groups, or even small churches.

These groups agree to pray for The Connection on a regular (preferably weekly) basis. They also agree to keep the prayer requests we send within the group.

One member of that group is designed the Prayer Captain and will be the one who communicates with us.

We send this Prayer Captain weekly prayer updates which he or she then shares with the group.

What do we require for your group to be included in this program?

• The group must be part of or aligned with a local church.
• We need to have some information about the group: average size, when they meet, etc.
• We need to have the church's name and contact information.
• We may check with the pastor to make sure that this group is legitimate.

What will you receive?

• Prayer captains will receive weekly emails from someone in the office.
• There will be a list of prayer requests.
• Some of these will be of a more personal nature that require confidentiality.

Prayer Partner

This is for the individual or group that does not fit into the Prayer Captain category. If you want to receive regular updates on what is going on here at The Connection and would like to pray for us, you might be ideally suited to be one of our Prayer Partners. (A Prayer Partner could become a Prayer Captain later on, or vice versa.)

A Prayer Partner simply needs to send us a request to be a Prayer Partner. They do not need to supply us with any other information. We’ll send email updates to you when we update our Prayer Blog. You may of course, access our Prayer Blog on your own without emailing us.
