Adopt a Lost Cause

When people get lost in the mountains or on a lake, Search & Rescue people are sent to find them. These men and women care very much for others and are trained in finding the lost even in the dark, under the snow, or during a storm. But these heroes need special equipment like boats, flashlights, boots, walkie-talkies and GPS.

Our job is very similar. Jesus said that people are lost. They are far from God and can’t find their back. The devil is out to hurt them. Many don’t even know that they are in danger. You are pretty lost when you don’t yet know you are lost! Our job is to rescue people trapped from the storms of life and from the trap that the devil has for them. But to do that we also need a lot of equipment.

Some of the stuff we need is pretty ordinary and not very exciting. But what is so exciting about a flashlight and boots? Equipment costs money. This is where you can help us. You can make a gift to us, or you can get your family together or Sunday school class – and you can help us buy some of the equipment we need.

We’ve tried to list a variety of things. If you make a gift we’ll list your name or the name of your class or family. You may also choose to make the gift anonymously.

When you have the money collected, click on the item you want to help buy and fill out the information. You can mail the money to us (but don’t send cash) or get your parents to send it by credit card via PayPal.

Office & Equipment

Basically all our office equipment is worn out, broken or almost unusable. We need a lot of stuff. This is stuff we need for coordinating our rescue efforts.

The "Donated" column will show how many people have donated specifically for that specific item since our Lost Cause Program began on April 15, 2010.

Just imagine, if 150 different people each adopted a cause which cost them as little as $5 to as much as $1,000 ... we'd have all the tools that we need to stop worrying about the right tools and to start effectively reaching people for Jesus!
