Slay the Giant

Debt can be a giant for families or organizations. It is a monster that sucks the life out of hearts. In 2008 and 2009, our support from the U.S. dropped to less than half of what it had previously been due to the weak U.S. dollar and disastrous U.S. economy. This was at a time when our ministry needs and opportunities were growing rapidly. John & Tiffany – although they had lost all their income – took out a loan to keep the ministry going. We’re glad they did because many lives have continued to have been touched by the many ministries of The Connection. And while God is bringing us out of that dark place with the help of new partners who join the Club 100, the monster still needs to be taken care of. If you want to help “slay the giant”, fill out the information below and click the "Slay the Giant" button. This will allow us pay off debt that The Connection has incurred. You don’t need to be big or strong to do this, just brave.

Already Slaying the Giant

Below is a quick pictoral testimony of what God has already done here at The Connection. We've had limited resources and "giants" preventing us from moving forward. Just think about these ministries and how much more we could accomplish if we were able to slay the giants that are holding us back?

We started a youth group from nothing in February of 2007.

Less than 3 years later, we now average 50 to 60 youth each week and we see at least one new visitor every week. Many have helped us with this giant task.

We produced The Scarf, a feature film in Summer of 2008 on a budget of $20,000. That's unheard of in the entertainment industry.

We had 380 people at our premiere of The Scarf on June 4, 2009.
