The Connection's Summer Camps

Below you will find a list of the various summer camps that The Connection is offering this summer for ALL AGES! You may scroll down to browse the camp options, or click on one of the camps below to go straight to it.

At The Connection, we do our best to offer these camps at as low cost as possible while still providing a fun, safe, and exciting experience for kids!

Camps offered this year (2010) include:
- Summer Day Camp (July 5 - 9)
- Cooking for Kids Camp (July 5 - 9)
- Media and Film Making Camps (multiple camps)

General Summer Camp Info for 2010

Transportation: For campers attending both the Cooking for Kids Camp and the Summer Day Camp - free transportation between both camps may be available on an as-needed basis.

Lunch Supervision: Campers attending a full day of camp with The Connection should bring their own lunch and will have supervised lunch periods. Campers attending only a morning camp should be picked up at noon and campers attending only an afternoon camp should be dropped off at 1:00 PM. Campers attending ONLY a half day of camp will not need to bring a lunch.

Kids Summer Day Camp
July 5 through July 9

Suggested Ages:
Kindergarten through Grade 5 (2009/2010 School Year)

The Connection's Kids Summer Day Camp will run 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday, July 5 through Friday, July 9. However, you also have the option to sign up your child for only the morning half or the afternoon half of the camp. Lunch Supervision is provided for children who stay the entire day, campers must bring their own lunches.

Full Day Camp - $70 for the week
(Full Day rate also applies to campers attending half-day Summer Day Camp and half-day Cooking for Kids Camp.)

Half Day Camp Only (AM or PM) - $40 for the week

Kid's Summer Day Camp will be held near the Maple Ridge Fairgrounds near Planet Ice.

Activities for the Kids Summer Day Camp include:
- Floor Hockey
- Flag Football
- Water Games / Water Sports
- Outdoor Games
- Wild and Crazy Crafts
- Weird Science Experiments

Cooking for Kids Camp
July 5 through July 9

Cooking for Kids Camp
Kindergarten through Grade 5 (2009/2010 School Year)
Held at The Connection - 22722 Dewdney Trunk Road
AM Camp - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
PM Camp - 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
$35 per child.

Media and Film Making Camps
Held at The Connection (22722 Dewdney Trunk Road). Learn to make a movie! Students will use professional production equipment and be instructed by an experienced television and movie producer/director. Students will make their own short film in a week.

$145 per student.
